Unity in Service and Faith
The Council of Catholic Women Archdiocese of Detroit brings together women to share their faith, grow spiritually, and unite in performing works of charity. Our mission is to foster spiritual growth and leadership among women while serving our community with dignity and love.
Operation Layette

Providing essential clothing and supplies for newborns in need. Through the generosity of our members, we assemble layettes that offer comfort and support to new mothers in the Detroit community.
Veteran's Hospital

The Veteran's Hospital initiative supports our nation's heroes through dedicated volunteer service and material donations. Our members work closely with local VA facilities to provide comfort items, personal care kits, and companionship to veterans, honoring their service with active faith and community support.
Water for Life

The Water for Life program by Catholic Relief Services (CRS), established in 1978 in partnership with the National Council of Catholic Women (NCCW), funds clean water wells, sanitation systems and hygiene education in developing villages across Latin America and Africa.
International Concerns

The International Concerns programs, including the Madonna Plan, unite women across the Archdiocese of Detroit in a shared mission of global aid. We provide spiritual and material support to developing communities, funding projects that empower mothers and children worldwide through a lens of dignity and faith.
The SOAP Project

The SOAP Project (Saving Our Adolescents from Prostitution) is a critical outreach initiative dedicated to ending human trafficking. The project distributes bars of soap labeled with the national human trafficking hotline number to local hotels, providing a lifeline to those in need. In addition to raising awareness, our members provide material support and volunteer support. Join us in this vital mission of awareness and rescue.
Madonna Plan

The Madonna Plan is a global outreach initiative created by National Council of Catholic Women (NCCW) in partnership with Catholic Relief Services (CRS) to support maternal and child health. It empowers mothers and expectant mothers through health, education, and financial security projects.
